Gear Review: Plano KVD Wormfile Speed Bag

What is it?

Plano KVD Wormfile Speed Bag

What sets it apart?

Organization with immediate access to specific baits — that’s the premise behind Plano’s new Wormfile Speed Bags. Designed to keep packages of soft plastics upright and easily identified, these containers feature a patented fold-down design that ensures these self-supporting bags remain fully opened for unobstructed view and reach. Plano made these bags with bright red interiors for optimal visibility in low light without blinding glare during bright days. The side carry handle facilitates transport.

How do I use it?

Each Wormfile Speed Bag is made with a high-performance, waterproof fabric shell with a Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) coating. This durable design follows that of Plano’s KVD Signature Series Tackle Bags and provides superior water-resistant protection. Made with failsafe looped zipper pulls, the Wormfile Speed Bag comes in two sizes, which hold up to 20 or 40 individual bags of soft plastics.

Angler’s insight:

Seems like we can never carry too many baits, but the abundance of options in today’s soft plastics market can create an organizational burden that Plano’s Wormfile Speed Bags seem to address well. I like the ability to organize plastics by style, size and color, as this makes it neater and easier to hold plenty of the day’s flavor at close reach in a container that’ll stand up on its own and stay open when you need it open.
