Skeeter adds to its Solera Series

Kilgore, TEXAS Skeeter, the leader in performance fishing boats, announced that they will add a new boat to the Solera Series with the Solera 205, an all-new fish and play boat that combines the performance of Skeeter’s top-quality fishing boats with features that allow families to fish, play and cruise. The Solera 205 will be on display during the Chicago Boat, RV & Strictly Sail Show, Jan. 10-14, and the Minneapolis Boat Show, Jan. 11-14.

The Solera 205 is powered by a Yamaha VF250XA four-stroke outboard, and comes standard with the following features: Minn Kota Terrova 112-pound thrust trolling motor with new Lift-Assist design for easy stowing; a trolling motor sliding bracket; Minn Kota’s 10×4 Precision onboard charger; Humminbird HELIX 7; and Skeeter’s REACT KEEL, which tracks the hull in a straighter line in windy conditions.

Additional features found on the 205 also include abundant storage for gear, a ski tow pylon and stand-up top for shade, a bow cushion package for added comfort, and a Bluetooth-capable Infinity stereo with four speakers.

The Solera 205 is the big sister to the Solera 189. It offers the same fishing performance and family comfort, but in a larger, big water friendly boat,” said Jeff Wooldridge, National Sales Manager, Skeeter Boats. “With the Solera 205, you can head out for a morning of serious fishing and then pick up the family for an afternoon of water sports.”
