Gear Review: Plano EDGE Frog Box

WHAT IS IT?

Plano EDGE Frog Box

WHAT SETS IT APART?

Gone are the days of jumbled up, dry-rotted rubber baits that result in unusable frogs. The best frogs have distinct appendages and bodies that are best stored individually. You get that and more with the EDGE Frog Box. A WaterWick divider with a reusable moisture wicking packet, a Dri-Loc O-ring seal and Rustrictor technology that protects frog baits from rust and moisture-related damage are integrated within the box. The EZ label system makes it quick and easy to identify baits without having to open up the box.

HOW DO I USE IT?

You can store up to 50 frog baits securely by the line tie for perfect protection and organization. That allows the legs of each bait to quickly dry off, and maintain their shape for long-term usage.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:

Frog baits have evolved in recent years from your grandpa’s simple, basic frog to the intricately designed variations that are more lifelike than ever, from appearance to action. That quantifies frogs as a specialty bait, and they deserve to have a specialty box in which to be stored. This specialty box, like others in the EDGE series, does that and more. I like the box for being able to quickly identify my frog lineup with the lid closed, instead of opening it up and picking through the entire contents just to find a specific bait. You get that, along with better organization and longer lasting baits, when the collection is stored in this box.
