ANGLER’S INSIIGHT:

Read the summary of how/why Nick Gill founded his now internationally known company and it’s easy to understand the design motivation. Basically, during his foundational years in dinghy sailing, Gill’s frustration with the sport’s lack of specialized clothing inspired the lineup we see today. Details like that intricately designed Vortex Hood speak volumes. With three channels and air vents allowing air to flow over, through and around it, the hood benefits from what’s known as a slip stream effect, which keeps the hood in place while running.
