WHAT IS IT?
Daiwa Ardito Premium Travel Rods
WHAT SETS IT APART?
Daiwa Ardito Premium Travel Rods come in two options. First, a 6-foot, 8-inch medium-light, fast-action spinning rod fitted with a split-grip cork handle is rated for 5- to 12-pound test. For those favoring baitcast gear, the 6-foot, 10-inch medium-heavy, fast action rod features a full cork handle. Both rods comprise a four-piece design and include Fuji Alconite Guides. With both rods, Daiwa’s 45-degree bias construction prevents blank twisting and eliminates any flat spots for consistent performance and hook-setting power.
HOW DO I USE IT?
Daiwa builds these handy travel rods with HVF (High Volume Fiber) Nanoplus graphite, a lightweight, resilient material that bolsters rod sensitivity and power for easy casting, precise control and efficient responsiveness. One of the most common concerns for multipiece travel rods is the structural integrity and performance of several sections acting as one. Daiwa addresses this with its proprietary V-Joint technology, which allows the joint connections to flex with the rod sections for reliable strength, sensitivity and smooth functionality.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:
Serious anglers like their options. Call it junk fishing, call it diversity; either way, multiple rods help prepare you for multiple needs/opportunities. However, life does not always allow a menu and some of the most memorable angling moments occur when it’s just you, one rod and whatever baits you can fit in your pocket or a small tackle bag. Business trips, family vacations where you steal a couple of hours before breakfast or after dinner, and those impromptu “gotta fish that” moments when your drive takes your past an irresistible pond or creek. These are the times when travel gear like the Daiwa Ardito comes in handy.
