Service comes and goes in the area Christie is fishing. That means this blog may not get through. But it possibly could.
It’s certain though there won’t be any “Live Show” feed. That’s a shame considering what he’s doing.
Craig Lamb explained it really well in an earlier blog. When I heard that Christie was “sight fishing” and wanted more wind the two didn’t compute.
But watching him work his Panoptix unit and casting to fish he can see electronically is really cool to see. If he stays atop the leaderboard that lesson in new world fishing will be worth watching on the Bassmaster Show on ESPN2.
It appears as if he’s throwing a tube. Just like shallow water sight fishing he’s making multiple casts to his target. The only problem is the unit doesn’t denote that it’s a smallmouth specifically. He’s caught a big smallmouth. But he’s also boated a drum, a walleye and a few short smallmouth.
