KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The BassmastHER workshop at the 2026 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic presented by Under Armour delivered one of the strongest turnouts yet, bringing together women from across the country for a morning of connection, encouragement and growth.

The workshop opened with introductions from Kylee Short, Laura Ann Butts and Braci Ault, each sharing a brief look into their personal journeys in the fishing industry. Their stories set the tone for an event focused on authenticity and community.
Following introductions, attendees were invited to pick up BassmastHER giveaways, including totes, rod sleeves, stickers and other branded items, giving each participant something to take home from the experience.

The remainder of the workshop featured a live Q&A panel with BassmastHER ambassadors Kylee Short, Kristine Fischer and Maggie Jo Carsello. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, from favorite fisheries to building sponsor relationships, navigating co-angler pairings and what to expect when joining an all-women’s fishing team.
The panel offered practical, experience-driven answers, creating an open environment where attendees felt comfortable asking questions and sharing their own perspectives. Each participant who asked a question received a Bass Pro Shops rod-and-reel combo, adding an extra level of excitement and encouragement.

Chase Anderson and his family also made an appearance during the workshop, adding a personal and community-driven element to the event. His daughter, Scarlett, spent time selling friendship bracelets, creating a memorable moment that resonated with attendees.
To close out the event, several attendees were selected to win Turtlebox speakers, capping off a workshop that emphasized both community and opportunity.

With strong attendance and meaningful engagement, the BassmastHER workshop continues to grow its impact. The next workshop is scheduled for May 16 at Santee Cooper Lakes in Clarendon County, S.C.
