Today I wanted to take time to give a Tundra Timeout
I currently have a 2025 Toyota Tundra with i-Force Max HYPRID Powertrain
There’s a million great things I could say about Toyotas and the longevity of the vehicle with incredible performance, some insane technology (you’ll get to learn a lot about that today), extreme comfort for the long trips from SC all the way to California, and efficiency. What gets you to and from the water is just as important as what you’re using on the water. 3.4 liter twin turbo v6 engine, 437 horsepower and 583lbs of torque – might sound like brain science to you, but what that means to a bass-head like me is my engine is responding the way I want my fish responding to my bait and how able to “put in work” the vehicle actually is. When you turn your Toyota Tundra into your townhome the way many anglers do it’s important that you feel safe and that you trust your vehicle, but I laugh because I have become like those highschool guys who take pictures and videos of their truck like its the Mona Lisa.
I love my truck, I spend more time with it than anything else… well besides my boat and of course, fish. My truck is the place where hours of phone calls, tournament days start and end, countless ideas, and “cardio” (getting in the car and turning on the radio) happen, with laughter from the BassmastHER girls, a safe space for my gear, so many miles from the lake to the beach to the mountains through the snow and extreme heat, my truck gets me where I need to go.
There’s some incredible features in the Tundra. A 14 inch touchsfrrrndisplace with applecsrplay and android auto / digital gauges, Trailer Straight Path Assist, bed lights in the tailgate, Panasonic moonroofs pre-collision systems with pedestrian detection and it will tell you to BRAKEEEEE if you don’t! Cruise control, lane departure alert, dynamic radar cruise control.cblind spot monitor, and more!!
When I don’t have my leer cap on I loved “flipping up the rear view mirror” and getting to see my boat and trailer in the rear view mirror.
The navigation display makes it easy to while parked check out some of my favorite apps from the Target drive up check in, ON X for hunting and scouting (and yes even some good fishing holes), Zoom and Teams so I never miss a call on the road, and more!!
(Some features are added onto your package!!**)
These are just a few features but you’ll find out more next time on the Toyota Timeout!
