Justin Hamner said he had about 15 pounds by mid-morning; but he caught them all deep on a Damiki rig with a small swimbait. Hamner was looking for a kicker; and since a lot of big females are moving shallow getting ready to spawn, he felt his kicker chances were way greater in the shallower areas near deep water.
