Martin and Hartman adjust at Apopka

Much like Day 1, we began our Day 2 of the SiteOne Bassmaster Elite at Harris Chain on Lake Apopka, which is the furthest southern lake on the Harris Chain.

The wind changed directions from Day 1 to Day 2, forcing Martin to utilize his Power-Poles to keep him in one area. You can tell how hard the wind is blowing if you look at the reeds doubled over in the background.

Despite the windy conditions, Martin was still fishing extremely slow, making short pitches to the reeds.

At about 11:30, Jamie Hartman made his way to Lake Apopka. On Day 1, Hartman was one of the first Elites through the lock, but today, he opted to start in Lake Harris and work his way to Apopka.
