Last post. This man’s a true sportsman. Slowed up on ride back to make sure a competitor was good to go.

Alton Jones is still largemouth fishing but he’s culling now. He has close to 15lbs of all green fish.

Gaining weight!!

With about two hours left to fish, Gerald Swindle is still on the hunt for the big ones. He has a small limit now but still has time to make a move. He knows it doesn’t take long when you get around the right group of fish. He has had his head down and been grinding all afternoon even though the bite has been tough.

Alton Jones smallies haven’t cooperated yet so he has gone back to Largie fishing. The largemouth he is catching are quality and this 3lber has gave him a limit now.

Brandon Coulter catches his sixth fish and it’s going to help.

Jamie Hartman is battling the wind & waves on the St. Lawrence River along with a flurry of 2-pounders to wrap his morning on Championship Sunday.

Three in and they are getting bigger.

After a rough ride, a wave crashing over the bow soaking everything, and a slow morning.. Bernie Schultz finally hooks a decent one. Needing bigger bites now.

This picture is James’ look of defeat. He just lost a 4+ that jumped twice then dove down and got hung on bottom. That fish definitely would have helped. 🙁

This is James’ 5th fish and he caught another one right after, so he is culling now.

Gerald Swindle has 3 in the boat this morning, but not the size he’s looking for. He is being patient and sticking to his game plan in hopes the bigger ones show up.

Alton Jones is filling his limit with largemouth until his Smallmouth bite gets fired up. He just flipped a chunky 3lber into the boat.

Brock …. stop catching the prey and start catching their mighty small mouth predator. Com on man!!!

Started with a little bad luck hopefully mechanical bad luck is the only bad luck of the day.

James fighting a “jumper” in 3 foot rollers, made an exciting fight. James won this round and landed his first fish of the day at about 3 pounds.

After a bumpy ride, Brandon Coulter starts the day with a good fish.

A familiar site for anglers and marshalls this week. The strong east wind made for a pretty bumpy ride this morning.

Currently fishing 40 feet of water, Jamie Hartman thought he got into a good one but it turned out to be a walleye.

It was a bumpy ride this morning but lucky for Alton Jones he didn’t have far to go. It’s 6:45 and he sets up on his first drift of the day.
