
Skeet Reese works his way into Perch Creek (Highland Marine) around noon. He had four fish at this point.

Reese sets up on a bedding bass that he fished for 30 minutes.

Reese constantly switched baits and dug out rods as he worked on the bass.

After swinging and missing half a dozen times, Reese sets the hook and his rod loads.

Reese works the bass around to the side of the boat.

Reese shows the bass to a host of spectator boats. The celebration is short. He still has work to do.

Reese hooks another good bass a few minutes later. this one was not on a bed.

After a short battle, Reese hauls the fish in. You can tell heâs feelinâ it. He knows he has a shot at winning with this bass.

The bass is in no hurry to come to the boat. Reese is tense.

Reese works the bass round the boat so he can land it from the driverâs seat.
