Classic anglers acquire swag

Welcome to Tulsa, and the GEICO Bassmaster Classic presented by GoPro. Anglers were greeted by these nice VisitTulsa.com workers as they left the registration meeting. But the anglers had one more stop to make before getting ready for the final day of practice tomorrow…

…the “Gifting Suite”. It’s another room full of goodies for anglers and significant others, and a chance to grab a bite to eat before the Classic shifts into high gear.

Huk is giving anglers the brand new Next Level All Weather Suit.

Plenty of sizes available. It was confirmed to this photographer that you must actually be a Classic angler to get a suit. Just asking, y’all. For a friend.

Toyota has hats and goodies ready for the anglers.

Carhartt had a serious amount of swag, and it all came in its own bag. A rain suit, 2 pairs of pants- fleece-lined and regular, Carhartt hoodie, and a neck gaiter.

Carhartt’s tote bags have this slogan on them.

B.A.S.S. also have a slogan on the backs of some exclusive t-shirts for the anglers.

B.A.S.S. Office Manager Faith McDonough shows off these sweet custom tumblers, inscribed with each angler’s name along with a hand made coaster.

I have to give Power-Pole some credit. When I asked what was in the bag, I was a little bit surprised by how much they got in there. That’s a roll-up dry boat bag filled with a long sleeve Power-Pole t-shirt, Power-Pole hat, sun protection buff, Power-Pole Tervis tumbler and some stickers.

VisitTulsa.com provided each angler with a watch to remember their 2016 Classic.

NITRO showed up with these giant rolling tote bags. They came in useful to put all the other stuff in, too!

Toyota is here in full force. For the anglers, a $100 Bass Pro gift card along with hats and other goodies…

…but they also thought of the wives/significant others and gave some special cuffs from a local company called Rustic Cuffs.

In addition to the colorful cuffs, each angler’s wife received a cuff with her home state on it.

Fabian Rodriguez and his wife appreciated something a little different than the usual fishing gear.

The anglers arrive and check out what’s for the taking.

This is Albert Collins’ second Classic. Both of them have been here, in Tulsa.

In addition to the gifts, the Hard Rock Casino brought these ladies to pose with the anglers.

Carhartt asked the anglers to sign these posters in addition to getting their swag bag. Brandon Lester signs away.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is the sponsor of the Outdoors Expo at the Cox Business Center. They also provided the anglers with some gifts.

Kristan Borges says that these bags feature a water bottle with a $50 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods and some other goodies.

I catch Jason Christie wheeling his swag out to the truck. Tomorrow is practice and these gifts can wait til after the Classic.
