Welcome to Day 1 of the St. Croix Bassmaster Open at Lake Okeechobee presented by SEVIIN.
This was the scene beginning at 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 1, 2024, or 15 minutes before the official takeoff.
The takeoff is on the Rim Canal located just across the levee from Roland Martin’s Marina, also site of the daily weigh-ins.
The temperature was 45 degrees with winds at 10 mph out of the north.
