After delaying takeoff nearly 40 minutes Thursday morning, tournament officials have decided to cancel Day 1 of the St. Croix Bassmaster Open at Sam Rayburn presented by SEVIIN due to strong north winds. The event will now be a two-day tournament beginning on Friday at 7 a.m. CT and wrapping up on Saturday. The full field will compete both days.
Bassmaster LIVE coverage will be available Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. ET on Bassmaster.com and continuing through 3:30 p.m.
The event is being sponsored by the Jasper County (Texas) Development District No. 1.
