Milliken in the driver’s seat with a limit

Toledo Bend is rocking right now as winds have picked up to their highest point at any time during the official tournament days.

Although a slightly tougher morning, Ben Milliken has added his third, fourth, and now fifth bass to his livewell and has over 10 pounds on BassTrakk currently.

To fill his limit, Milliken pulled a rod out of his rod box that he had not used yet today, and that 4-3 largemouth ate the bait on the first cast.

With a limit filled and half the day still left, Milliken is in great position to secure the wire-to-wire win.

A good-sized line of rain and storms is pushing through south of Toledo Bend and while a few showers came made their way across the lake, the most impactful residual effect has been the wind, which is come from the East and straight into the area Milliken is fishing.

He still has a comfortable lead, but Milliken has Trey McKinney making a charge behind him. McKinney has 17 pounds unofficially for the day.
