Severe weather shortens final day of Bassmaster Open at Santee Cooper

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. — Due to the National Weather Service’s afternoon forecast for severe conditions, the final day of the St. Croix Bassmaster Open at Santee Cooper Lakes presented by SEVIIN has been shortened. 

The Top 10 field who took off at 6:30 a.m. ET will be off the water by 1 p.m. Weigh-in will follow at approximately 1:20 p.m. at the John C Land III Sports Fishing Facility.

South Carolina angler Kyle Austin entered the day as the leader with a two-day total of 55 pounds, 15 ounces. He is followed by Ronnie McCoy with 54-15 and Laker Howell with 53-12. The winner will receive an automatic berth into the 2025 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic presented by Jockey Outdoors.
