Rick Clunn isn't just old-school — the guy's practically Oxford. For him, a Saturday jostling against the heavy boat traffic expected to flood onto Old Hickory Lake isn't his ideal day of fishing.
Last night, Bassmaster Elite Series pro Jeff Connella said a prayer — for his co-angler. He knew Jim McDevitt had already won an event this season from the back of the boat, on the Harris Chain of Lakes.
There can only be 12 anglers in the Sunday finale of a Bassmaster Elite Series tournament. So when Brent Chapman and Denny Brauer were tied for 12th place after Saturday's weigh-in the tournament director had to consult the rule book.
