ESPN finalizes sale of B.A.S.S. to investor group
An agreement in principle was announced in August by ESPN and the transaction was completed Monday. "Under the direction of Don Logan, Jerry McKinnis and Jim Copeland, B.A.S.S. will be well positioned to serve anglers' interests for many years to come," said George Bodenheimer, co-chairman, Disney Media Networks and president, ESPN. This week we're going to talk about a dream I've had for a longtime; making new lures. I started messing with them when I was about 10 years old. I'd use a butane lighter to melt plastics together to make new shapes and designs. When I wasn't doing that, I was refinishing hardbaits with fingernail polish.
