Trevor Romans reflects on his performance at Table Rock Lake.
The Table Rock event went a little better.... I can say that at least it wasn’t a complete disaster like the first two Elite Series events.
Aaron Martens scored more points for his owners in Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing than any of the other pros did.
Mike McClelland of Bella Vista, Ark., added a seventh Bassmaster title by a nail-biting 13 ounces over Mark Davis in Sunday’s final round of the A.R.E. Truck Caps Bassmaster Elite at Table Rock Lake.
Local Mike McClelland takes his place at the head of the Table.
After two days, only 9 pounds separate Top 50 at Table Rock.
Davis moved up from second place by adding another 15 pounds, 3 ounces to his first-day weight of 18-8.
The tournament at Table Rock is getting divided attention this week.
One technique I would love to come into play is a Trick Worm. Starting when the water temperature hits around 60 degrees and bass start showing up in their spawning grounds, a bright-colored Trick Worm fished weightless on top or just below the surface can be a great technique.
You don't have to win to have a good tournament. At Seminole, Byron Velvick had a great finish but is far from happy about it.
