Noreen Clough passes

Long time B.A.S.S. Conservation Director Noreen Clough passed away last night after a battle with liver and pancreatic cancer.

Noreen was a beloved figure at B.A.S.S. She had a tremendous impact on our sport and our organization. Prior to B.A.S.S., Clough was the Southeast regional director for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. As those who knew her might expect, she had a positive attitude about her battle with cancer and chose to look at the brighter side of things. She will be missed.

There will be a memorial mass in Timonium, Maryland, at Stella Maris, at a date and time to be determined.

Here’s the tribute Don Barone wrote about Noreen when she retired in July 2013. “Noreen Clough, goodbye.”
