On May 7 Bassmaster Classic winner Randy Howell will headline the Captain D’s Castin’ ‘N Catchin’ tournament for CHD presented by LiT Coolers. The event will take place at the Goose Pond Colony Resort, Scottsboro, Ala., on Lake Guntersville.
All proceeds from tournament will be donated to the Pediatric & Congenital Heart Center of Alabama.

The event includes a dinner for registered anglers on Friday May 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Goose Pond Civic Center, 876 Ed Hembree Dr. Scottsboro, Ala. Dinner will include a special guest speaker and an overview of tournament rules. Below are more details about the event:

4 a.m.: Boats can start to arrive. Please follow signs.
5:30 a.m.: Boats will blast off in single file.
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Windcreek Hospitality’s Family Fun Zone will open. Families are invited to attend. The area will have sponsor vendors, music, food trucks and kids activities.
2 p.m.: Weigh-in will begin.
