It’s not Toledo Bend’s fault that anglers get treble hooks caught in their skin, but it seems that every time we have an event on this big fish lake that someone encounters that issue. Within the first two hours of action we already have a victim of such instance. Trevor Schleich and Derek Kane encountered a hooked hand for the first time ever, but luckily because Kevin VanDam iconically did that to himself here at Toledo Bend, they were able to help themselves. They remembered watching the video on how to remove a hook step by step and it paid off as they did it on the water moments ago.
