Crossed Industries adds Jay Brainard

Crossed Industries signs on as Jay Brainard's title sponsor in his rookie year.

MESA, Ariz. — Crossed Industries, a provider of high performance automotive accessories, will be the title sponsor for 2016 Bassmaster Elite Series rookie Jay Brainard.

Prior to winning the points race in the 2015 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Opens, Brainard spent eight years dodging bulls and keeping riders safe.

Jay is an outstanding, young and very talented angler,” said Dave Davis, CEO of Crossed Industries. “He is a tremendous representative of the sport of professional bass fishing.

“Jay’s inclusion as the 17th-ranked angler in Bassmaster.com’s 30 Under 30 is a testament to his impact on the sport,” continued Davis. “Expect even bigger things from Jay as he transitions into the Bassmaster Elite Series.

Brainard had two Top 10 finishes out of the three Central Opens, including a second-place finish at Ross Barnett. Crossed Industries is planning to give Brainard one less thing to worry about by helping accessorize his Tundra with the best aftermarket brands available.

“I’ve grown up with family in the oil industry and in the rodeo circuits,” said Brainard. “One thing they both had in common were tough trucks that could get you to and from safely. I’ve been fishing since I was 4 and customizing vehicles since I was 14. It just makes sense to partner with Crossed Industries.

“We can’t wait to see the growth of Jay in the Elites and the growth of Crossed Industries in the angling community,” said Davis. “Together, the goal is to help all parties, especially the everyday anglers and fans who make these circuits possible.
