Pro’s tips for choosing jerkbaits

The biggest problem with jerkbaits is that you couldn’t possibly fish the multitudes of excellent models available these days. While every serious bass angler should have a variety of jerkbaits in his or her lure arsenal, how many do you really need?

That question was posed to three Bassmaster Elite Series anglers: Texans Keith Combs and Chris Zaldain and Floridian Bernie Shultz. While each of these pros remained true to his lure sponsors, the number of jerkbaits they employ varies considerably.
