January 26, 2026 — Woodland, Washington — G. Loomis is proud to welcome Elite Series Pro Robert Gee to its North America Fishing Pro-Staff. Gee has been loyal to G. Loomis products throughout his collegiate and professional fishing career, and his official recognition as a Pro-Staff member marks a significant milestone.
A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Robert’s fishing journey began alongside his love for baseball in high school, but his competitive career truly took off during his time at the University of Tennessee. Drawing on lessons from baseball, he approaches fishing with a ‘practice like you play’ mindset, applying discipline, focus, and mental toughness to every day on the water.
Gee’s versatility as an angler was forged on the demanding waters of the Tennessee River system, where he developed the skill set that now serves him at the sport’s highest levels. Known as a true finesse specialist, Gee has relied on G. Loomis rods throughout his competitive career, including his remarkable achievement of earning a Century Belt on the St. Lawrence River during his rookie Elite Series season.
“Robert is the kind of angler every brand hopes to partner with,” said Kade Gewanter, Freshwater Marketing Manager. “His loyalty, work ethic, and consistent performance speak for themselves. We’re thrilled to have him officially join the G. Loomis team and represent our rods at the highest level of competition.”
Robert will collaborate with G. Loomis on product development, testing, and outreach, sharing his expertise with anglers nationwide while representing the brand at the highest levels of competitive bass fishing.
