Gillâs new line of UV Tec clothing keeps the wearer dry, comfortable and protected from the sun with a UPF 50+ rating. The fabric is light weight, moisture wicking and fast drying. UV Tec comes in several styles for men and women, including T-shirts, polos and shorts. Prices range from $39.95 to $79.95.

The Contender jacket and bib offer high-quality Gore-Tex protection at a lower price point than some of the company’s prior offerings. The jacket has several pockets, a storm hood and adjustable cuffs. It has a large storm hood that fits easily over your helmet, mask or cap. The Contender jacket retails for $349.95, and the bib for $299.95.

SolarFlex long-sleeve tee is one of several solar-protective products in Simms’ lineup. It has a UPF rating of 30+. It’s also anti-odor and has moisture management capabilities. It sells for $39.95 to $49.95, depending on the pattern. New colors this year are seagrass, grey and slate blue, plus a series of artist prints.

Carhartt’s new Surrey Bib Overalls protect clothes from the rain so you can fish in comfort. The fabric is made of PVC, so you know the water just won’t get in. The Astoria is a cotton canvas jacket by Carhartt that is both waterproof and breathable. The hood is detachable.
