What is it?

Reins Bubbling Shaker Worm

What sets it apart?

The Bubbling Shaker worm by Reins Fishing is a ribbed style worm that can be used with several different techniques. Available in six different lengths ranging from 3-inch finesse to 10-inch magnum worm, there is a size for every application. Japanese designs and details have a track record of proving very successful in the United States, and the Bubbling Shaker is no different. It features a unique bubbling pintail design that is tantalizing to panfish and perch, and therefore, surrounding bass.

How do I use it?

With six different lengths and several tried and true colors, as well as colors designed by Elite Series pro Paul Mueller, there is a wide variety of options that have proven successful in Japan and the United States. It can be used with techniques such as a Neko rig, shaky head, Texas rig, wacky rig, drop shot, and damiki rig. The action of the bait with a little twitch of the rod is key to triggering bites.

Angler’s insight:

As an angler, being able to use soft plastic baits for a variety of different techniques is key to maximizing productivity and time on the water. The Bubbling Shaker is designed to get bit regardless of how it is being fished. The ribbed body and pintail are a staple in the Japanese design, and they have done just that with the action of this bait. It is extremely productive on panfish and bass and will work well on open water or through the ice. Paul Mueller used it to claim his first Elite Series victory on Lake Lanier in 2019.
