Gear Review: Plano EDGE Jigs and Bladed Jigs

WHAT IS IT?

Plano EDGE Jigs and Bladed Jigs

WHAT SETS IT APART?

Baits are held firmly and neatly in place between adjustable and removeable columns. Those grip the collar of baits to prevent weed guards from getting bent, or blades from getting tangled with other baits. You can arrange baits by size or color and see them all through the Duraview lid. Everything stays in place, even when the box gets dumped upside down.

HOW DO I USE IT?

Slide the head of the jig between the two posts, and it stays put. The capacity is impressive at up to 70 baits. A one-hand, snap-shut latch eliminates metal hinges that protrude outside the box, so they can be stacked. The labeling system on the latch makes it easier to know what’s inside.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:

Every box in the EDGE series has Rustrictor rust-preventing technology molded into the base of the boxes. Dri-Loc watertight seal and patent-pending, water-absorbing Water Wick desiccant dividers ward off moisture. That’s a huge benefit, as hooks, hardware and blades won’t rust from standing water inside the box. I have over $200 worth of baits inside my box, making the box a worthy investment.
