Gear Review: H2O XPress Tackle Case

WHAT IS IT?

H20 XPress Premium Terminal Tackle Utility Case

WHAT SETS IT APART?

Right off the bat, this case has the kind of rugged, durable feel that instills confidence in the product’s ability to withstand rough rides, drops and other mishaps common to a busy day on the water. That’s a safe assumption, as the H20 XPress Premium Terminal Tackle Utility Case is made of heavy-duty ABS and plastic materials for impact resistance. Inside, the corrosion-resistant interior presents a well-conceived array of tackle organization options.

HOW DO I USE IT?

With a lid that opens 180 degrees for convenient access with a secure work station, the case features pre-molded foam with holes and slots for bullet weights and hooks, along with upper and lower slots with removable dividers. Notably, if you remove some of those dividers, you’ll open up space for hard baits, swimbait heads, underspins, etc. Most anglers keep baits and terminal tackle separate, but beginners and traveling anglers short on space will appreciate this product’s versatility.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:

Starting with the product labeling, the H20 XPress Premium Terminal Tackle Utility Case includes not only the expected callouts highlighting key features, but also an expanding tab with user-friendly images showing the overall product view, as well as closeups of the key design features. Anglers can figure stuff out, of course, but effective marketing does more than claim a smart design — it shows the goods. The only thing I’d like to see is a clear lid for easy content identification.
