WHAT IS IT?
Battery Tender Charge N Start 4120 1200 AMP Jump Starter and 4 Amp Battery Charger.
WHAT SETS IT APART?
Dead batteries always seem to happen at the worst possible time, whether you’re at the boat ramp, on the water or heading home after a long day of fishing. The Battery Tender Charge N Start provides peace of mind by giving you a reliable way to get back up and running without waiting for a jump.

What really sets the Charge N Start apart is that it combines a powerful portable jump starter with a 4-amp battery charger and maintainer, eliminating the need for two separate tools. Whether you’ve accidentally left your truck lights on at the ramp or want to keep an older cranking battery topped off between trips, it does both jobs in one compact package.
HOW DO I USE IT?
My first impression after opening the Charge N Start was just how compact and well-built it felt. It comes in a durable, high-quality carrying case that’s easy to toss in a truck, boat compartment or storage box. A jump starter is only useful if you actually have room to keep it with you, and despite its power, this unit takes up surprisingly little space — far less than a bulky set of jumper cables.

On the jump-starting side, the Charge N Start delivers 1,200 peak amps and a 10,400mAh battery capacity, providing enough power to start gas engines up to 6.0 liters and diesel engines up to 4.0 liters. It’s equally capable of bringing life back to dead batteries in tractors, lawn mowers, boats and other 12-volt equipment.
Using it couldn’t be much easier. Simply connect the alligator clamps to the battery, and the built-in LED indicator quickly confirms a proper connection. Once the light turns green, you’re ready to start the engine. An ultra-bright LED flashlight is also built in, making it easy to use after dark or during early morning launches.

When it’s time to charge or maintain a battery, simply connect the charging leads and plug the unit into a standard outlet. The built-in 4-amp charger charges and maintains standard flooded, AGM and 12-volt lithium batteries, helping extend battery life and ensuring they’re ready for your next trip. Sometimes the best products are the ones that don’t overcomplicate things — they simply work every time you need them.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT
No matter what kind of trip I’m taking, I always carry tools that can help solve unexpected problems. Dead batteries are one of the most common issues anglers run into. Between multiple batteries in the boat, the truck and other outdoor equipment, it’s usually a matter of when, not if, you’ll need a jump or a charger.

On the water, a dead battery can quickly turn a great day into a frustrating one, leaving you stranded or cutting your trip short. The Battery Tender Charge N Start is one of those pieces of gear you hope you never have to use, but you’ll be glad it’s there when you do. Its combination of a dependable jump starter and built-in battery charger makes it a practical addition to any truck, boat, garage or shop. Whether you’re rescuing your own battery or helping another angler at the ramp, it’s the kind of tool that quickly proves its value and gets you back on the water doing what you came to do.
