St. Clair’s best Fantasy picks

The lead was never safe at the AFTCO Bassmaster Elite at Lake St. Clair as no angler was able to hold onto the lead for more than one day. Joey Cifuentes was able to notch his second Elite win of the year with a final day comeback where he brought in the biggest bag of Championship Sunday.

Lake St. Clair showed out in a big way and the leaderboard shifted from day to day. In other words, no Fantasy roster was safe after Day 1. As always, there were a few surprised with Rapala Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing.

With a final day comeback on Championship Sunday, Joey Cifuentes notched his second Elite Series win of the 2023 season. In a small sample size, the Arkansas pro has proved his ability with a spinning rod in his hands it top notch. Cifuentes scored 305 points for the 3.3% of players who selected him.

Second best selection: Bryan Schmitt scored his best finish of the Elite Series season with a 5th-place finish. The Maryland pro scored 280 points while only being selected by 1.3% of players in Bucket A.

Lowest scoring angler: Will Davis Jr. had his first mistake in his rookie season at St. Clair with a 94th place finish. Davis scored just 87 points and was selected by 0.2% of players.

BUCKET B: FUJITA

Kyoya Fujita was able to fish to his finesse fishing strengths at St. Clair which resulted in his third Top 10 finish for the Elite Series rookie. Fujita scored 272 points for the 4.0% of players who selected him.

Second best selection: Brandon Card finished just outside of the Top 10 and ended up being the second-best choice in Bucket B. The North Carolina pro scored 254 points and was selected by just 0.8% of players.

Lowest scoring angler: Darold Gleason has had a steady season up until St. Clair where he had his worst finish of the season. The Louisiana pro scored just 83 points while being selected by 0.1% of players.

BUCKET C: PALMER

Luke Palmer fell just short of capturing his second Elite win of the 2023 season at St. Clair. Despite being selected by just 0.5% of players, the Oklahoma pro was the top pick in Bucket C.

Second best selection: Cooper Gallant had his best finish of his rookie season at St. Clair, finishing in 4th. The Canadian pro scored 285 points while being selected by 11.9% of players.
