Howell rockets to Day 2 lead at Wheeler Lake
Guntersville, Ala. pro Laker Howell claimed the Day 2 lead at the Nitro Boats Bassmaster Elite Qualifier at Wheeler Lake presented by Bass Pro Shops with a two-day total weighing 46 pounds, 10 ounces. Howell caught 25-4 on Friday to add to his Day 1 tally of 21-6. He will carry a 4-ounce lead over second-place Matt Adams into Championship Saturday.
