Spendin’ the day off with Cox

Spend the cancellation day at the 2024 Lowrance Bassmaster Elite at the Harris Chain of Lakes with John Cox!
Our first stop was at the local gas station to pick up some shiners for a pond adventure.
In go the golden shiners into the bucket.
Made a short drive over to a home he owns with a pond just steps away from the back porch that he rents out through Airbnb.
We filled the feeder you see there full of food and started tossing some shiners in to see if we could get a couple bass to come to the shallows.
Lots of bluegill came up and started feeding immediately.
And after not very much luck with the fishing, rain storms came through and forced us to go back inside the house.
And of course we weren’t going to let the opportunity to spend a few hours with John go to waste. So, he showed us what he typically does when he isn’t fishing.
Berkley General for lunch?
Had to check on the news station to see how the storm was going…
We made a stop inside the game room with some air hockey before we left.
And on the way back John wanted to stop and grab one of his favorite drinks…
Not really sure what kind of mix he made, but he seemed to enjoy it. Thanks for following along on John Cox’s day off!
