Catch up on Shane LeHew’s big Day 1 at the Simms Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork.
LeHew has already had a phenomenal morning and currently sits in the top seven on BASSTrakk.
We caught up with LeHew later in the afternoon. Upon our arrival, he landed a smaller fish that didn’t help.
LeHew is fishing comfortable and focusing on finding bigger fish to upgrade his total.
A short time later, he is hooked up on another.
A good fish, but not enough to help.
LeHew is submerged deep in wooded areas, focusing on a certain pattern to targert his fish.
Time to make a quick move…
Immediately upon arriving at the next spot, LeHew hooks into another one.
Another good sized fish, but LeHew’s limit is too large for it to help.
Another fish on the hook.
And it’s another stud.
And poses it up for a nice boat flip.
LeHew continues to battle the wind and waves in search for upgrades at the 2022 Sims Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork.
