Brandon Palaniuk starts Day 3 of the Simms Bassmaster Elite on Lake Fork in 2nd place.
And it’s not long before he’s hooked up.
A nice one comes in the boat

The bite is slower here this morning, and Palaniuk is having to finesse them a bit early

I saw Palaniuk do something today that I’ve never seen before. He’s take his rod, lay it on top of his Hummimbird 360 screen…
… and use it to line up his cast…
… then bomb his bait in that direction.
Seemed to be working quite well
