Lowen and Ito take on Okeechobee

Head out on the water with Bill Lowen and Taku Ito on Day 1 of the Champion Power Equipment Bassmaster Elite at Lake Okeechobee.

Bill Lowen
Lowen said he liked this bank because of the shady areas. It looks the herron has the same idea.
Even the crappie fishermen said the bite was tough this morning.
Lowen said that he thought he could pull 15 pounds per day off his banks, but it might just be a bag of two pounders.
Taku sets the hook on a small fish, and he is more concerned about not hooking his photographer than the fish.
Most of Taku’s fish are about the same size, so he is having to use a balance beam to cull quickly.
