Check out hometown hero, Lee Livesay, with a rapid start at the 2022 Sims Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork.
Livesay begins his day catching a limit of bass almost immediately.
This is his first spot of the morning. He is interchanging lures frequently while making long casts.
Hooked up on fish number one only minutes into the tournament.
A fantastic start with a quick stud for the scoreboard.
This fish doens’t make the slot limit, so it’s put on the score card and back in the water.
Almost back-to-back. Fish number two is headed to the boat.
Another nice keeper to certainly help his cause.
A quick weight by the judge before releasing the fish back into the water.
This fish is on the board and headed back into the water.
Fish number three is on the hook almost immediately afterwards.
But this fish comes off, and Livesay gets right back after it.
Livesay us making quite a few bait changes, keeping these fish interested and active.
Livesay is hooked up again, and this one could be number three for the board.
And it’s in the boat!
A huge help to his score as this is his biggest on thus far.
As we arrive at the next spot, Livesay flashes us fish number four which he caught in our absence.
After a little runnig around, Livesay sets back up on his area to try and finish his limit.
And it doesn’t take long for him to hook a giant!
And the 7-pounder is in the boat!
A huge fish and a huge start for Livesay.
