It’s a sunny morning in central Alabama, where Day 1 is about to be underway at the Lippert Bassmaster Elite at Lake Martin.
This was the scene just before the official 7 a.m. takeoff at Wind Creek State Park.
Calm wind and temperatures in the low 40s made for perfect flying conditions.
Most of the boats will take a hard right into the main lake and travel south.
Where they will search for suspended and roaming spotted bass. Using forward-facing sonar, of course.
