It’s just after 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 on Day 1 of the Whataburger Bassmaster Elite at Lake Hartwell.
The low light conditions were ideal for the herring bite.
And without wind to break up the surface clarity so were the flying conditions.,
In this gallery you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of how the anglers set up to capitalize on the herring bite.
What is more, you’ll also see how local anglers construct offshore cane piles on the points used by the herring to spawn, and the bass to feed.
