Early morning aerials at Murray

Get a bird's-eye view of the habitat in play on Day 1.

it’s 6:50 a.m. or about 20 minutes after official takeoff of Day 1 at the Tedy’s Team Bassmaster Elite at Lake Murray.
It’s one of my favorite places to fly because of the water clarity and calm wind conditions that expose the habitat in play.
With baitfish spawns underway in the low light the boats and anglers were positioned on shallow flats or rises off the bottom.
Like this … that’s where the bass ambush the baitfish.
Throughout the gallery you’ll get an overhead view of the various bottom configurations in play.
