It’s 7 a.m. on the scenic and tranquil upper Pasquotank River. You’ll get history and tactical views of the Day 1 action for the St. Croix Bassmaster Elite at Pasquotank River.
The history is the view of the Dismal Swamp Canal, all 22-miles of it dug by hand beginning in 1794 after the project was commissioned by President George Washington.
From there, I moved downriver to find anglers probing canals for spawning bass.
