Blake said that one of his favorite baits to catch fish on is a swim-jig. He misses a fish here, but he immediately casts back to the exact same spot and catches the largemouth.
Just look at those gator eyes!
Blake mentioned that a lot of fishermen use the same color trailer on their seim jig, but he prefers to mix it up a little with a different colored trailer than the jig itself.
The needle nose gar is not fun to get off the hook, and it cerntainly isn’t what he is lookoing for today.
Blake said the Yum Dinger in this color is the only one to use on Okeechobee.
