Arkansas River muddy flyover

Morning flyover of habitat in play on Day 1 at Kerr Reservoir.

It’s 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 16 of the Gamakatsu Bassmaster Elite at Arkansas River.
Most of the field locked down to Kerr Reservoir and its substantial 43,000 acres. The lake is part of the Arkansas River but looks like a standalone reservoir.
Muddy water is a relative term here. The fish and entire ecosystem call it home. So it’s just another average day of life for the fish and other wildlife.
But this gallery truly shows just how vast and dingy (or muddy depeneidng on where you live) are during the tournament.
All of my “targets” were focused specifically on near shore vegetation.
