Southern Illinois Yamaha pro Trey McKinney became the youngest ever Bassmaster Elite Series winner recently at Lake Fork, Texas, with an amazing four-day total of 130 pounds of bass. Shortly after sharing the trophy presentation on stage with his parents, the 19-year-old phenom told reporters he hadn’t eaten anything all day.
So, nobody is quite sure exactly what’s fueling his unmatched youthful dominance from a nutritional standpoint, but it’s certain his decision to power his Bass Cat boat with a Yamaha 250 V MAX SHO, and signing-up for the Yamaha Power Pay contingency program, paid him $4,000 on top of his $100,000 victory.
