Versatility makes an AOY

When it comes to catching bass better than any other Elite angler across nine wildly different venues, being versatile is absolutely essential.

This morning, we’ve seen Brandon Palaniuk throw a spinning rod on riprap, chuck a big swim bait around bridge pilings, frog a shallow mat and now fish below a dam. This conglomeration has him sitting in a respectable 14th on the day.

A snapshot of the versatility we’ve seen from BP all year, and a glimpse at how the age old adage stands true: being a jack of all trades and a master of none is still better than being a master of one.
