Pirch has started just off the main lake in an area that appears postcard worthy of a fishing spot, complete with pads, grass, trees, high grass, birds chirping and seeing bass around your boat.
The Phoenix Suzuki Pro has an assortment of rods on the deck as well as his Superstick, which you better have if you’re going to be slinking around the shallow confines of Santee Cooper looking at bass on beds.
Time will tell if he’s going to be able to boat the bass he’s located in this area. Sight fishing is always such a tricky game. Finding them is most often the easy part. Getting them to lock on, and commit to your presentation, well that’s another story for later.
