Lowen moves shallow, for now

Bill Lowen blew our minds a bit here on Day 1 starting offshore. But he’s moved to the flipping stick, for now at least. Lowen commented that he has full intention to head back offshore once the water starts to move a bit more this evening.

The move paid off quick for Lowen, he just landed a good one off of a duck blind on a flipping jig. Lowen registered the fish on BassTrakk at 2- pounds, 10- ounces, but just looking at it through the lens of Bassmaster LIVE it looked a lot more like a 3- pound, 10- ounce bass.

Lowen caught 3 non- keepers on the same duck blind. This quick flurry likely means we’ll see him shallow for a while now.
