Kyoya Fujita just caught a heavy 4, and then a light 4 on back-to-back casts. The latter was quickly released. Fujita is releasing the kicker that 45 or so other anglers are looking for. The Japanese phenom had 23–14 yesterday. His BassTrakk has him at 22-5 on the day, which is likely a little light. Even still, Fujita has a 3-pound, 2-ounce lead on Cody Huff in 2nd. Huff likely needs 24 pounds to erase the deficit, which would be the biggest bag of the event, occupied currently by Fujita’s Day 2 catch.
