Day 2 saw Marc Frazier of Newnan, Ga., secure his Semifinal Saturday spot by catching a pair of 7-pounders. He seems to be carrying that momentum into Day 3 by boating a limit of 24 pounds, 12 ounces — all within the first hour and a half.
Frazier anchored his early effort with a 6-9.
As of 8:30, BassTrakk showed three anglers with more than 20 pounds. Joining Frazier, Josh Stracner has 28-3 — the morning’s biggest bag — and Gerald Swindle (fourth on Day 2) has moved into the lead with a limit of 23-10.
The day’s still young and Lake Fork is almost certain to deliver more fireworks.
